Monsoon season is on the verge of its final cycle, nature seems to show different moods as the day progresses. One early morning I started my work with great zeal and enthusiasm. By the time I complete my work, it was afternoon. I was driving back home. I was feeling contented as I completed the tasks I planned. Traffic got jammed on the cross-road near to my home. I got stuck in between for while.
Car AC was full. However I felt the heat & humidity in the car and I started talking to God as if he is right there in front me and I was complaining him for creating such a terrible heat like summer during monsoon.
The very same moment, I saw a barefooted old man who was carrying his goods cart(In Gujarati -Hath Lari) while singing song in his language and passing through traffic. The scene drifted me away into complete silence for while. Even my inner dialogues got frozen.
Sounds of bulling horns got back my attention to dispersing traffic, I managed to safely drive the vehicle out. My eyes started shading tears, on realising that my all complains to God were valueless.
I asked for the forgiveness for not being able to see his grace on me. I conveyed my deepest gratitude for whatever he has gifted me with. The God is the one who hold my hand like father and protecting me from falling down in to the valley of criticism and scarcity. He transmuted my belief system through that lariwala’s smiling face.
Through this incident my belief became stronger that God answers me through his creation. Now when I see this happening, the only prayer that comes out of my heart is ” Thank you, God “.
Every moment, I am feeling blessed.
